JTHS Principal’s Email – Oct. 23

Dear Students and Parents,

As we move further into October and as the end of the semester gets closer, we want to continue to stress the importance of attending and participating in physical education classes. Our physical education courses provide students with various opportunities to address nutrition, physical fitness, mental health, and social-emotional well-being. There are many benefits to full and active participation in physical education classes that go beyond general assumptions surrounding exercise, including improved judgment, reduced risk of depression, stress relief, improved confidence and self-esteem, enhanced peer relationships, experience in setting goals, and self-discipline.  We appreciate your continued support in encouraging students to attend and actively participate in JT physical education classes.
