Welcome to Joliet West Athletics! Joliet West is proud of the accomplishments of our student-athletes, both on and off the field. Athletically, the Tigers compete in the Southwest Prairie Conference. Inside our conference, Sportsmanship is very important. We ask that spectators and players make behavior their top priority at all athletic contests. We will continue to have security at our games to ensure a safe and positive environment for our school community.
The foundation of our athletic department is our TIGER PRIDE Core Values.
Our core values are the umbrella in which our athletic department operates. Within our TIGER PRIDE core values, our philosophy is that students can balance the pursuit of athletic and academic excellence simultaneously. Our athletic staff is committed to providing everything needed to reach the athletes' potential athletically, while excelling inside the classroom. Joliet West is comprised of coaches that are professional, passionate, and hard-working. Each coach encourages their athletes to succeed in all aspects of life. The athletic staff promotes character education with the athlete awareness program for all in-season athletes. The Joliet West athletic department also has a captain's club that includes selected varsity athletes. The captains club meets three times per season to provide a forum to exchange ideas, communicate concerns, and learn strategies to improve leadership skills.
We hope that your experience is enjoyable anytime you enter our facilities. We will continue to improve in all aspects of our department. Please take some time to get familiar with our website. If you need anything, do not hesitate to call, email, or stop by Joliet West. My door is always open.
We invite you to join us in cheering for the Tigers!
Every athlete must have a valid/current physical on file with the Athletics Department and must complete the online registration process each season prior to try outs. You can find instructions on how to register your student as well as a link to the official Joliet West Athletic and Activities website below.

Joliet West Secure and Hold Protocol Lifted
The secure and hold protocol at West Campus has been lifted. The campus was searched, and no weapon was found. Law enforcement has determined this rumor to be un-substantiated.
We thank our students, staff and law enforcement for their cooperation, and our families for their patience. Transportation will be provided to bus-riders, and families can now pick up their students. Afterschool activities, athletics, and events will continue as scheduled unless otherwise communicated by a coach or sponsor. The Joliet West Varsity Football game will be delayed until 7:30 p.m. with gates opening at 6:30 p.m. Thank you once again for your patience.
The safety of our students and staff is always our top priority.
