The band performed in the Krannert Performing Arts Center for a large audience and a panel of highly accomplished university band directors. After their performance, the band was able to hear the two 2019 Honor Bands and the University of Illinois Wind Symphony. The Joliet West High School Symphonic is led by Director Eric Wellman and Assistant Director Alyson Bauman. “This festival is a wonderful opportunity for our students to perform in an amazing concert hall, along with other amazing bands from across the state, and in front of exceptional college band directors from across the nation. I am very proud of their accomplishment and how they represented Joliet West and District 204."
