Homecoming

The Homecoming Parade is September 24 at 9:30 a.m. The Parade route starts on Herkimer Street and moves north towards E. Jackson Street. Then turns left on Jackson Street and moves west towards Chicago Street; turns left on Chicago Street and moves south towards Jefferson Street; turns left on Jefferson Street and moves east towards Collins Street; continues on to Collins Street and turns left into Joliet Central. 

The Homecoming football game v Plainfield East takes place September 23 at 6:30 p.m. 
 
Community Members & Non-Students must purchase tickets online at  bit.ly/CentralPresale prior to game day on a first come, first served basis. Tickets are NOT sold on game day.    
 
Joliet Central, JTHS, and Joliet East Alumni must complete the Central Alumni Homecoming Ticket Request Form if they wish to receive a complimentary alumni ticket. A pass list will be held at the gate and alumni must show an ID at the entrance to confirm free entry. The deadline for the complimentary pass list is September 19. No additional names will be accepted after that time, and tickets cannot be purchased at the gate on game day. Guests will be denied entry without a ticket or their name the pass list. 
 
Season Passes will be honored at our Homecoming Game. 
   
Students must either have an Activity Sticker on their ID or a student ticket purchased on GoFan. All students must have their ID for admission to the game.

The Powder Puff football game is on September 21 at 5 p.m. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased online HERE. Ticket proceeds benefit Pink Heals Joliet Chapter and Joliet Central Athletic Scholarships.  
 
Pep Rally 
There will be a Pep Rally during half time of the Powder Puff game. Senior varsity athletes will be recognized with their teams, there will be performances by the Joliet Central Marching Band, Poms Team, Cheerleaders and the fan favorite, Dude Squad! 
 
There will also be a live Homecoming Court announcement.

The Homecoming Dance takes place September 24 from 6 to 9 p.m. in the Joliet Central Student Center. 

Homecoming dance tickets are on sale from September 6-15 can be purchased online HERE. Tickets are $20 which includes admission to the dance and a dessert voucher. Space is limited and 550 tickets will be sold.  

All student fees must be paid to attend the dance. Student fees can be paid online  HERE. If you have not paid the student fees, the online system will not allow you to purchase dance tickets. 
 
Guest Forms & Homecoming Court Nominations
Guest Forms for the dance and Homecoming Court Nomination Forms are located outside the principal's office. BOTH need to be approved by the student's dean and turned into Ms. Cantu in room 301. Court forms are due September 9. Guest forms are due September 16 (or until tickets sell out). 

How to bring a guest: 

1. Retrieve a yellow Guest Form from the wall display in the Principal's office.   

2. Fill out the form COMPLETELY with all necessary signatures. 

3. Attach a copy of your guest’s photo ID 

4. Bring completed form and copy of the photo ID down to the bookstore and purchase the additional ticket.
