Scholarships are listed by month according to deadlines for submission. Keep in mind that the more scholarships you apply to the better the odds are that you’ll win one. Make sure you are reading the scholarship eligibility criteria very carefully! You don’t want to waste time and effort applying for scholarship you do not qualify for. Scholarships with narrower criteria, lower the amount of applicants and could potentially give you better odds of winning.
Pony Baseball and Softball Alumni Scholarship

Description: Eligible students must be high school seniors; must play on a PONY affiliated Pony, Colt and/or Palomino team for at least two years prior to application; be involved in school and community activities and provide letters of recommendation. Go to for more information and to apply.

Alianza de Negocios Education Scholarship

Description: Eligible students must be a graduating senior attending Joliet Township West High School, Joliet Township Central High School or Joliet Catholic Academy; have a GPA of 3.0 or above; and attending a two or four-year accredited college or university. AES Engineering Scholarship

Description: Scholarships are intended for our future leaders across a wide spectrum of fields of study. This award is available to high school seniors and all students attending a post-secondary educational facility. You are not required to be taking Engineering courses to be eligible.
JJC Foundation Scholarship for Outstanding Graduates of District High Schools
Amount: Up to $3200
Closing Date: April 1, 2018
Description: This scholarship is based on a 3.25 or higher GPA and a score of 1070 or higher on the SAT/ 21 or higher on the ACT. Additionally, a transcript and signed counselor form are required. Both forms can be uploaded to the student’s scholarship application on Award Spring.
Prior to applying for scholarships, students will need to apply to Joliet Junior College in order to obtain a student identification number and JJC email address. Contractors Association of Will & Grundy Counties

Description: Applicants must be a son/daughter of an owner or full-time employee of a Contractors Association of Will & Grundy Counties or a son/daughter of a Will/Grundy union building tradesman. Applicants must also have at least a “C” average. Description: Eligible students must have a parent who has been killed or seriously injured as a result of a work-related accident that meets the criteria of the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Act and that has resulted in demonstrated financial need. Applicant must be accepted as a full-time or part-time student at an accredited university, college or technical school.
