Dear Central Students and Parents,   
 
Celebrate back to school with the Steelmen family.  Joliet Central will open its doors to students and families from 5 to 7 p.m. the evening of August 5 for a self-guided tour and another opportunity for students to locate their lockers and classrooms.  There is no registration taking place at this time.  
 

That same evening students, families and staff are invited to attend the Slammers baseball game beginning at 7:05 p.m. Students can pick up one free ticket during Welcome Week or the evening of August 5 from the school.  Families and staff will receive a discounted rate of $4 when purchasing tickets using the code Central204.  This code can be used online or in person at the box office. 
 
Requirements for Attending the Walk-Through   
* The student/family must certify that they do not have COVID or COVID-like symptoms upon entry to the school. 
* Masks must be worn at all times in the building for unvaccinated individuals. 
* Maintain social distance of 3 feet from those individuals not residing in your household. 
   
Arrival & Parking   
Students and families may enter the school through the main entrance located in the Student Center on the east side of the building or at the auditorium entrance on Eastern Avenue.  You may park in any lot close to the entrance.
