Incoming Freshman Students: 
 
We are excited to welcome you to an in-person orientation this summer. Attendance at this optional event is not mandatory, but strongly encouraged, as it is designed to help students feel confident and well-prepared as they start their high school journey. 

Who is Invited? 
All incoming freshmen attending Joliet Central or Joliet West High School in Fall 2025 

When & Where: 
Students should attend the orientation at the campus they will be enrolled this fall. 
Friday, August 8, 2025

• Joliet Central Campus: 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. 

• Joliet West Campus: 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. 

What to Expect: 
Students will have the opportunity to: 

• Meet staff members 

• Explore the layout of the building 

• Participate in fun team-building activities 

• Learn about school resources and ways to get involved 

Transportation: 
Bus transportation will be provided for students who live 1.5 miles or more from their assigned campus.
