Dear Junior/Senior Students and Parents,  

After weeks of brainstorming ideas, weighing options, and working around the current restrictions, we are excited to share that Joliet Central is hosting Prom 2021 on campus!  The event takes place on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at Joliet Central High School from 1 to 8 p.m. We are thrilled to offer this prom experience.   

Prom Experience 2021, with the theme, “Red Carpet," will transform the school into a red carpet event.  "Prom Squad" groups of up to 100 students travel to areas inside and outside the magically decorated building.  Students can select their Prom Squad groups by signing up online.  This year’s prom is for Joliet Central juniors and seniors ONLY.  Unfortunately, outside guests can NOT attend.  

This magical prom experience includes a professional DJ, swag bag, photo booth, interactive games, and photo opportunities.  Students may take individual pictures without a mask, but students must wear a mask at all other times. Feel free to “Dress to Impress” or come “Comfy Casual.”  Just remember, the school dress code still applies.  

Social Distancing, Safety Regulations & Entry Procedures  
Central students must bring their student IDs to enter prom. Upon entry, masks must be worn, and social distancing is enforced.  All students and staff are required to use/wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including face coverings.  Masks must be worn the entire time on campus (indoors or outdoors), with the exception of when individual photos are taken by the school's photographer.  You must provide your own mask.  All students, staff, and volunteers must follow social distancing guidelines in all locations.  Joliet Central staff will be in place to support all safety protocols; students must follow all staff requests and all safety protocols.  All Joliet Central rules and regulations are enforced.  

Ticket Sales & Prom Squad Sign up  
Ticket sales begin Monday, April 12 and end Friday, April 30.  After ticket purchase, students can select their Prom Squad online.  Tickets are $15 and must be pre-purchased in advance online or at the school's bookstore. Tickets are not sold at the door are non-transferable and non-refundable. Additional information regarding ticket sales and Prom Squad sign-up is available after Spring Break.
