2021 Mr. and Miss J, Runners Up and Finalists Announced

Since 1958 Joliet Central High School has selected two high school seniors to represent the school as Mr. and Miss J.

With a rigorous selection process, students who have maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.5 throughout their high school career are rated based on character and school involvement by Central staff to determine the top ten male and female finalists.  From there, finalists participate in an interview process where staff and community leaders serve on a panel that rates each student based on personality, poise, activities, and service to the school and community.

Mr. and Miss J, along with runners up and finalists, were announced during a small socially distanced ceremony in the Central Auditorium on April 21, 2021.  View Photos
