At Joliet Township High School, school safety is always our top priority. It is important to make sure that our parents, staff, and their emergency contacts receive our communication. If the parent or guardian of the JTHS student needs to update or make changes to his or her emergency contact list, please complete the Household/Emergency Contact Information Form.
At JTHS, we are enthusiastic about sharing positive news about our student, staff, alumni, and school district’s many accomplishments. We are committed to providing informative and timely communication to our families and the community through the local media, social media, website, emails, texts, and phone messages. If you have inquiries about JTHS communication, please contact our Director of Community and Alumni Relations, Kristine Schlismann.
Home Access Center (HAC)
Check student grades and attendance online through Home Access Center. Alerts can be set up to notify you if a grade falls below a certain percentage or if your child is absent or tardy. Log on to Home Access Center.
Phone Messages: Phone Messages are sent to communication information of high importance such as school closings.
Text Messages: Receive text messages by texting “Y” to 67587. Text messages and electronic communication, such as email, Facebook, Twitter, the Emergency Closing Center, and the JTHS Website, instantly notify our parents of any closure or emergency. The phone messaging system that delivers phone calls is not instant, and will often be received after electronic communication is delivered.
