The Collins Street Neighborhood Council is hosting a Neighborhood Cleanup Day on Saturday, May 21.  Volunteers should meet at 9 a.m. at the Hartman Center Pavilion, 511 Collins Street in Joliet for supplies and assigned locations.  Volunteers receive community service hours.  Children under 16 years old must be accompanied by an adult. The cleanup day is in honor of Robert Sanchez, a longtime neighborhood resident who passed away last year. His advocacy for the neighborhood, especially keeping our neighborhood clean, will continue to live strong in the Collins Street Neighborhood. More information in English is HERE and in Spanish HERE.
