Dear Families, Community, & Alumni,

Joliet Central High School alumnus, Jalen E. Jones, is serving those in need through his leadership in the Thanksgiving in 5 event.
Thanksgiving in 5 takes place 5 days before Thanksgiving on November 19 in the Joliet Central High School Student Center, 201 E. Jefferson Street, from 10 to 3 p.m., to provide a space for the underprivileged community to enjoy a full Thanksgiving dinner with all the fixings.
Also included in the event is the distribution of clothes and winter accessories to those suffering from homelessness, care packages with PPE, free haircuts, raffle giveaways, children’s story time, a book giveaway, and more. Thanksgiving dinner is served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Clothing Collection
West Assistant Basketball Coach Tyler Johnson is leading the collection of new and gently used clothing, including winter coats, scarves, boots, and shoes.
If you a community member who would like to donate, you can drop off items during regular school hours on days when school is in session to the JTHS Administrative Center, 300 Caterpillar Drive in Joliet.
If you are a staff member or student, you can drop off items in the Central or West Main Offices or at the Administrative Center.
