Final exams are coming up. If additional help is needed, students can use our online tutoring services. Information about tutoring services, upcoming events, and more is below. 
 
Final Exams
Semester 2 final exams are May 25-27. The final exam and morning bus route schedules are HERE.

Laptop Return
All students, including those enrolled in summer programs, must return their school-issued laptops before leaving on May 27.  Students enrolled in summer programs are given a Chromebook that they will return upon completion of the summer program.   

COVID-19 Booster Vaccination Clinics
Fee COVID-19 Booster Vaccination Clinics are taking place on May 14, 20 and 28 at the Will Grundy Medical Clinic, 213 E. Cass Street in Joliet. More information HERE. 
 
Free Smoke Alarms & Installation
The Red Cross is providing the installation of FREE smoke alarms during their Sound the Alarm event on Saturday, May 21. More information HERE. 
 
Online Tutoring
Students can sign-up for free virtual tutoring if they need extra help before the end of the semester. Tutoring is available after school and on weekends. To sign up, click HERE.  
 
Food Truck Festival at Joliet West High School – May 14
Parents, students, staff, and the community are invited to a food tuck festival on May 14 from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Joliet West parking lot.  Bring your chairs and blankets, grab some great food, and participate in the 50/50 raffle while listening to the talented students in the Joliet West bands. More info HERE. 
 
Joliet Central High School Finale Concert May 19 at 7 p.m.
The Joliet Central High School Choir invites parents, students, staff, alumni, and the community to their finale concert on Thursday, May 19 at 7 p.m. in the Central auditorium, 201 E. Jefferson Street in Joliet. Admission is free and a cake reception will follow in the galleria.   
 
Summer Sports Camps
Enrollment is open for Joliet Central and West Summer Sports Camps. There are camps for a variety of ages from elementary school through high school.

JTHS Board of Education Meeting – May 17
The next regularly scheduled Board of Education meeting is May 17 at 7 p.m. in the Board Room of the JTHS Administrative Center. Agendas are posted at least 48 hours prior to the meeting HERE. Board of Education meetings are live streamed HERE. The public may comment during the public comments section on any agenda item or topics related to the district; however, this is not an opportunity for conversation. Visitors must conduct themselves with respect and civility towards others. Individuals wishing to make public comments must sign up upon arrival before 6:50 p.m. on-site at the JTHS Administrative Center.
