Joliet West Prom will take place on May 1 at Bobak’s Signature Events in Woodridge, and Joliet Central Prom will take place on May 8 at Georgios Banquets in Orland Park. We will communicate additional information about Prom closer to the event dates. 
 
Prom Dress, Suit & Accessary Resale March 14 from 9 a.m. to Noon 
A Prom Dress, Suit, Dress Clothing & Accessory Resale is taking place on Saturday, March 14 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Nail Academy Inn located at 160 N. Chicago Street (Located North of the Rialto Theatre).  Beautiful dresses and suits will be available at affordable rates.  This is a low-cost option to afford Prom, graduation, and dress clothing.  The event is made possible through the Hope and Friendship Charity Organization, and they use the funds raised from the event to assist with graduation and end-of-school-year costs for those who are struggling to afford these events.  For more information, view the Prom Dress Sale Flyer. 
 
Donations Accepted & How to Donate 
Donations of formal dresses, suits, casual dresses, dress clothing, dress shoes, and accessories of all sizes can be dropped off at the Nail Inn Academy, 160 N. Chicago St., Joliet or their Lemont location at 47 Stephen Street.  They are open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday-Friday. 
 
Community Service Opportunity – Setting Up the Prom Dress & Clothing Sale 
Students and community members can volunteer to help organize clothing, set up, and pack up, on Friday, March 13 from 3 to 6 p.m. and on Saturday, March 14 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at The Nail Inn, 160 N. Chicago St., Joliet.  Students will receive community service hours for volunteering.  Make sure to bring the Community Service Form with you and have it signed or use SchooLinks to document your service.
