Families and Students:

In honor of Mother’s Day this Sunday, we recognize all mothers and caregivers whose care, resilience, and dedication help our students grow and succeed.

As we are near the end of the school year, we want to remind students how to return their district-issued laptops. Below are guidelines and instructions to assist you with that process.

Graduating Seniors: Please return your school issued laptop to the Student Help Desk once your last final test is completed before leaving the building on May 19, 2026.  Make sure you forward any important emails in your school email inbox to your personal email. Save any files you need from your OneDrive or Google Drive to a personal/flash drive as your school email will be deleted once your status changes to “Graduate.”  We are NOT collecting hot spots from Seniors. To avoid a cleaning fee, please remove all personal stickers/artwork from the device before returning.

Once all your finals have been completed, seniors will have an opportunity to return their laptop to the Student Help Desk during their English class on May 18 or before leaving the building on May 19.

Senior students will be notified immediately upon return of the device regarding fees for damaged or missing items (i.e. cracked screen, stylus, and power cord). For questions regarding technology fees, please call (815) 727-6892 for Central or (815) 727-6894 for West.

Returning Students: All students returning to Joliet Township High School in August of 2026 are to keep their school-issued laptops through the summer.
Laptop Tips

  • Keep your laptop in a location that will ensure it will be ready for use at the start of school

  • Keep out of extreme temperatures (do not leave in bookbag/car/trunk/outside, etc.)

  • Check your laptop periodically throughout the summer (turn on/login/charge)

  • It is essential to keep your laptop charged throughout the summer

  • If your laptop is not working, please bring it in for repairs at the Student Help Desk during the summer. Student Help Desk hours during the summer are June 1 to July 30, 2026, Monday through Thursday 7 am – Noon; The help desks are closed on June 18 and July 2.

  • If during the summer you find out that you are not returning to Joliet Township High School, please return your laptop, power cord, and stylus to the Student Help Desk

  • Updates run monthly, so please turn on your student device 2-3 weeks before the start of school to make sure you are able to log in and that your laptop is working.
