Take the Illinois 5Essentials Survey--We need your feedback!
Joliet Township High School has joined the Illinois State Board of Education in the Illinois 5Essentials Survey to gather important data about our school climate and learning conditions. This short, research-based survey provides a unique opportunity for students, teachers, and parents/guardians to have a voice in improving their schools. Students and staff will take the survey on February 16 during “5Essentials Day.” We invite parents and guardians to share their feedback by taking the survey HERE.  Your identity and survey responses are confidential. The survey closes on March 31.
Joliet Region Education Community Connectors – Feb. 10
Parents, community members, faith-based, non-profit, and service organization leaders are invited to the JRECC meeting featuring Thriveworks mental health services and Joliet Fire Chief Jeffery Carey, EMS Chief Aaron Kozlowski, and Peer Support Coordinator John Lukancic. The event is February 10 at the Administrative Center. Breakfast is available at 7:30 a.m. The meeting begins at 8 a.m. and concludes by 10 a.m.
Save the Date for Parent Teacher Conferences
Parent Teacher Conferences will take place virtually on Thursday, March 9 from 4 to 7 p.m. and Friday, March 10 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. This is an opportunity to speak with teachers about grades, attendance, support services, and any concerns you may have. Students should attend the conference with their parents/guardians if possible. Parent Teacher Conference registration begins February 19. When registration opens, parents should log on to their Power PTC account to schedule their conferences as soon as possible to secure their preferred meeting times. Spots will fill quickly. We will communicate additional information closer to the date that registration opens.
