Mental Health Resources for JTHS Students

Dear Parents and Students,

We are sending a reminder that mental health resources are available to our students. If a student needs social/emotional support, we urge the parent/guardian or student to reach out to their School Counselor or complete the request for support HERE.  Completion of this form initiates a request, and a team of school support personnel will review the situation to assign appropriate supports. Please be as specific as possible when completing the form.
There are also community support resources posted to our website HERE for situations such as grief and loss, suicide prevention, mental health, addiction, and more.
In addition, JTHS has contracted with Care Solace, a free service that quickly finds mental health, substance abuse, or marital issue treatment options.  With Care Solace, the individual requesting assistance is assigned to a dedicated Care Companion™ who personally and confidentially helps navigate the mental health care system by calling providers to find the right fit and works to get an appointment within two weeks of initial contact. The Care Companion™ helps families with private insurance, Medicare, Medicaid, and no insurance, and is available 24/7/365 in any language. To access Care Solace, call (888) 515-0595 at any time. For an anonymous search, answer a few questions to get matched with an extensive list of care providers at Students and families may speak to a School Counselor or Social Worker for assistance with accessing Care Solace. Care Solace is a complement, not a replacement, for school staff or community partners. Care Solace is not an emergency response service or mental health services provider. In the event of a life-threatening emergency, please call 9-1-1 or the National Suicide Hotline 1-800-273-8255.
Please reach out if help is needed. We are here to provide support.
