Dear Parents and Students,
The holiday season can bring sadness and unexpected emotions. We are sharing mental health resources that students and families can access while staff is out of the office.
Through a partnership with the Joliet Fire Department, the City of Joliet, and the use of district ESSER relief funds, JTHS students and families can access free mental health services through Thriveworks. In-person and online care is available within 3-5 days after the appointment request. Thriveworks works with the top 4% of providers who can help with relationship issues, mental illness, grief and loss, child/adolescent/teen issues, stress, and more. To access Thriveworks, call (855) 707-2461 or visit the website HERE. When you call, please be prepared to provide insurance information (if available) and City of Joliet residents will need their water bill number as well.
Students and families also have access to Care Solace, a free service that quickly finds mental health, substance abuse, or marital issue treatment options. Care Solace helps families with private insurance, Medicare, Medicaid, and no insurance, and is available 24/7/365 in any language. To access Care Solace, visit their website HERE or call (888) 515-0595 at any time.
Care Solace and Thrive Works are not emergency response services. In the event of a life-threatening emergency, please call 9-1-1, or use the National Suicide Hotline by calling or texting 988.
Additional resources are posted to our website HERE. Please reach out if help is needed. Support is available.
