Meningitis Vaccination Clinic at Joliet Central Aug. 6 for All JTHS Students

Families and Students, 

The Will County Health Department is hosting a Meningitis Vaccination Clinic at Joliet Central High School on Thursday, August 6, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

The clinic will be held in Room 295. 

Entrance: Please use J Door, located on Eastern Avenue (Auditorium Entrance) 
Parking: Lots H or I on Jefferson and Eastern by Metra. 

This clinic is open to all Joliet Township High School students, including those from Joliet Central, Joliet West, and Pathways Academy. It will help students meet Illinois state immunization requirements for the 2026–2027 school year. 

Vaccines Offered:

  • Meningococcal ACWY (required for seniors) 

  • Meningococcal B 

  • HPV vaccine 

Cost: Vaccinations will be available to families with Medicaid, no insurance, or who are underinsured. Services are not covered for those with private insurance. 
 
Low-cost vaccinations are offered at a cost of $23.75 for uninsured or underinsured. Please bring proof of Medicaid or insurance status.  

Important: A parent or guardian must accompany students under 18 years of age. Please bring photo ID. 

Reminder: Illinois High School Immunization Requirements 

  • All freshmen, seniors, and transfer students are required to submit completed health documentation by August 18, 2026 (the first day of school). 

  • Seniors: Must provide proof of one dose of the meningococcal conjugate vaccine received on or after their 16th birthday.
