Joliet Township High School is forming a committee to draft the policy and procedures necessary to implement E-Learning Days on days when school is closed due to weather or emergencies. E-Learning Days would eliminate the loss of instructional time during unscheduled school closures. The e-learning policy and procedures will be submitted to the Board of Education for approval with a recommendation for implementation during the 2019-2020 school year.

JTHS invites parents, guardians, staff, and students to participate as members of the E-learning Emergency Day Committee. The committee will meet from 4 to 6 p.m. at the JTHS Administrative Center located at 300 Caterpillar Drive in Joliet. The meeting dates are: January 17, January 31, February 21, March 21 and April 11.  Light refreshments will be provided.

Please RSVP attendance to Dr. Cheryl McCarthy at cmccarthy@jths.org by January 14.
