Powder Puff 
The Powder Puff game takes place on October 8, 2025 at 6 p.m. Students from other schools are not allowed to attend. Families of participants may attend with younger siblings.  Spectators (non JWHS students) must purchase tickets online at GoFan. Adults tickets are $6 and tickets for children are $3.  Gates open at 5:00 pm.   

West students must purchase a paper ticket at the JWHS textbook center beginning October 2 from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The cost is $5 and the activity sticker does not apply to this event. 

Pep Rally 
The Homecoming Pep Rally is on Friday, October 10, during the school day for students.  The Junior and Senior Pep Rally will take place during period 3 and the Freshmen and Sophomore Pep Rally takes place period 8. There will be a live Homecoming Court announcement during the Pep Rally.  

Homecoming Parade
The parade is Friday, October 10, at 4:15 p.m.  It starts in the Joliet West parking lot and proceeds east on Glenwood Avenue to Woodlawn; turns left and heads to Douglas; turns left and heads south on Westminster; turns right and heads west on Glenwood; turns left and heads back into the West parking lot.
 
Homecoming Football Game Ticket Procedures  
The Homecoming football game v Plainfield East takes place on October 10 at 6:30 pm and gates open at 5:30 pm. 
 
Community Members & Non-Students must purchase tickets online prior to game day on a first-come, first-served basis. Tickets are NOT sold on game day.  Senior citizens need to present ID at the gate for complimentary admission.

Joliet West Alumni must complete the West Alumni Homecoming Ticket Request Form if they wish to receive free admission to the football game.  A pass list will be held at the gate and alumni must show an ID at the entrance to confirm free entry.  
 
JTHS Season Pass Holders: Present your season pass card or family pass information at the gate for free admission. 
 
Joliet West High School Students must pick up or purchase tickets at the bookstore during bookstore hours Monday – Thursday from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and on Fridays until noon. Tickets are only available the week of the game and cannot be picked up for all games at once. Students without an activity sticker must pay $2. Tickets will NOT be sold or distributed on the day of the game.  All Joliet Township High School Students must bring their school ID to attend game, and younger students must always be accompanied and supervised by an adult.   
 
Homecoming Dance
The Homecoming Dance, Livin’ in the Disco, is Saturday, October 11, from 6:30-9:30 p.m. in the Field House.  All students must enter by 7:30 PM. Tickets are $25 and are on sale starting September 9 through October 8.  Purchase tickets through MySchoolBucks.  For students who still owe fees, a payment towards student fees is required for students to attend the dance. For students who owe fees to be eligible to purchase dance tickets, you must have made an arrangement through the Principal’s Office. All students and guest must arrive to the Dance by 7:30 to gain entry, anyone who arrives after 7:30 will not be allowed to stay on Joliet Township Property.
 
Homecoming Dance Guests
Only tickets for approved guests can be purchased in the Book Store.  All outstanding fees must be paid before tickets can be purchased.  There are no refunds for students who purchase more than one ticket.  Completed guest forms are due to the student’s dean by 3:15 p.m. on October 3.
