Students, parents, staff, and the community are invited to the 5th annual Kermes celebration on May 9 from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the Joliet Central High School Student Center.  With the theme of “JUNTOS OTRA VEZ!” which translates to “Together Once Again!” the planning committee is excited to bring the Kermes back bigger and better than ever before after a two-year cancellation due to COVID. 
 
During the Kermes, students and community will come together to celebrate all aspects of Latino culture, including food, music, games, crafts and more.  Event proceeds benefit Joliet Central’s Follow your Dream Scholarship for DACA and undocumented students.  Applications for the scholarship are now being accepted until April 28. More information about the application process is HERE.
