There are two opportunities we want you to know about. Please consider participating or encourage your student to participate.   
 
Enrollment Open for YMCA Teen Achievers  
Students of all grade levels can enroll in the YMCA Teen Achievers program.  Meetings take place on campus after school from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. on Tuesdays for West students and on Wednesdays for Central students.  A dedicated advisor works closely with students to provide college preparation and career exploration.  Students participate in college visits, hear from guest speakers, and benefit from access to scholarships only available to Teen Achievers participants. For more info and enrollment click HERE.
 
Last Day to Sign Up  for Career Exploration Event   
Friday is the last day for female students to register HERE for the virtual career exploration event on December 2 from 1 to 3 p.m., which is an early release SIP Day.  This is an opportunity to ask the questions you have while considering your future career options.  Talk one-on-one with female professionals and learn how they got to where they are today.  This is an interactive networking experience that includes an opportunity to win lots of prizes!  There is an awesome line up of women professionals who are looking forward to talking to you, including a Will County Public Prosecutor, Professor of Nursing, Makeup Artist, Audiologist, Physical Therapist, Social Worker, Business Owners, State Representative, Accountant, Communication Specialist, Realtor, Human Resources Director, Agronomist for a Global Agriculture Company, and much more!  Spots are limited due to the personalized nature of this event so sign up as soon as possible.
