Attention Students: 

Are you looking for a fun way to earn community service hours this Halloween season? The Sator Sanchez Elementary School PTO is looking for about 20 student volunteers to help at its annual Trunk or Treat, a family event for young students and their families. 

Volunteer Event Details 
Friday, Oct. 23 | 4–7:30 p.m. | Sator Sanchez Elementary School, 1101 Harrison Ave., Joliet 

• Earn community service hours 

• Help run the Trunk or Treat for children and families from 5 to 7 p.m. 

• Arrive at 4 p.m. to help set up and stay until cleanup is complete 

• All volunteers will receive a hot dog, chips and a drink 

• Please dress appropriately, as this is a family event

This event is open to all students. We hope to see you there! 

Important Reminders When Representing Your School 
When you volunteer in the community, you represent your school. Many events, like this one, rely on committed volunteers. 

If you commit to volunteering, it's important that you follow through. If an unexpected issue prevents you from attending, be sure to email the event contact person, Mrs. Perez, at hperez@joliet86.org. 

Documenting Your Community Service 
Students who volunteer at this event will receive community service hours. Please print and bring a copy of the Community Service Form to the event so it can be signed on site. This is the preferred way to receive your hours. If you need to request a signature electronically instead, you must send your request to Mrs. Perez within five days of the event, by Wednesday, Oct. 28. Requests received after that date are not guaranteed.
