Families, Community Members & Alumni: 

Joliet Township High School invites individuals 18 and older to participate in our Morning Walker Program at Joliet Central and West High School. The Central and West Field Houses are open to the public for walking on days when school is in session from 5:30 a.m. to 6:30 a.m. The 2026-2027 Morning Walker Program begins on Tuesday, September 8, 2026.   

Enrollment  
Participants in the morning walker program shall complete the following before using District 204 facilities: 

  1. Sign the Agreement for Participant & Waiver Release of all Claims and Hold Harmless  
      Agreement for JTHS HERE 
  2. Show a current picture ID (State ID or Driver’s License) for processing through the Raptor     
      System 
  3. Sign in each time you enter and leave 
 
Parking & Facility Entrance 
 
Central: Park in E lot off Herkimer. Enter through F door off Herkimer St.  
 
West: Park in any available spot near Door 14 (Field House Entrance). Enter through Door 14. It is important to note that we will need everyone to leave the parking lot at 6:30 AM so staff can park in their assigned spaces.  
 
Facility Usage Rules 
  1. Participants are not allowed to enter the main building without permission at any time. 
  2. Water is allowed in the facility. Food, coffee, soda, or drinks other than water are not     
      allowed. 
  3. There is no smoking, vaping, or other use of tobacco permitted on school grounds. 
  4. There are bathrooms allowed for changing, but no shower facilities. 
  5. Classes at Central and West begin at 7:20 a.m. All participants are required to vacate the  
       facility by 6:30 a.m. due to staff arrival and parking. 
  6. Participation is limited to people 18 years of age or older.
