GSBF Scholarship Information Sessions for JTHS Students

Joliet Central and West Freshman Parents and Students,
Joliet Central and Joliet West High School students can apply for the Give Something Back Foundation Scholarship. Give Something Back Foundation, GSBF, is a four year mentoring and scholarship program that starts during the freshman year. Students approved for the program must maintain a “B” average or higher while in high school. Students must be eligible for the full Pell Grant, demonstrate high academic achievement, and be of good character. The Foundation helps cover the cost of education at a partner college.
GSBF is presenting virtual information sessions using Zoom. Joliet Central High School is hosting a virtual session in English and Spanish on Wednesday, October 21st at 6 pm. All Joliet Central and West freshman parents, guardians and students may register for this session, or any of the sessions found in THIS ATTACHED DOCUMENT.

Mobile Pantry @ Central Oct. 19 and West Nov. 9 from 12:30 to 2 p.m.
Mark your calendars. JTHS has partnered with the Northern Illinois Food Bank to provide families picking up school meals with additional pre-packed boxes of groceries. The food boxes are available via contactless drive-thru pickup from 12:30 to 2 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 19 at Central and on Monday, Nov. 9 and at West.
