Parents and community are invited to join the JTHS Athletic Boosters as they raise funds for Central and West athletics while promoting pride in our athletic teams. The Boosters meet monthly at the Administrative Center, volunteer at events, hold fundraisers, and recognize athletic supporters through awards programs. Athletic Booster Committee Descriptions
Below is the list of standing Booster Committees that volunteers can sign up for when they become Booster volunteers.
Concession Stand Committee
The Boosters sell concessions at West Football Games. Duties include Set-Up, Sales, Grilling & Clean-Up.
Golf Outing Committee
The Boosters hold an annual golf outing each fall. Volunteer duties include securing raffle items and sponsors; assisting with advertising and promoting; setting up; and cleaning up/breakdown.
Fundraising Committee
Several Booster fundraisers take place during the year through raffles, 50/50, and Spirit Wear sales. Volunteer duties include securing raffle items; and selling 50/50 tickets, raffle tickets, and Spirit Wear at athletic events.
Student Recognition Committee
Annually the Boosters hold Athlete of the Season Recognition Events in the Fall, Winter, and Spring. Committee member duties include planning the events, assisting on event days, and assisting with scholarship awards.
Night of Champions Committee
The Night of Champions event is a fundraiser dinner that recognizes staff athletic supporters and alumni teams and/or athletes. Committee duties include organizing the event, assisting at the event, publicizing the event, and securing sponsors and raffle items.
Outreach & Marketing Committee
The success of the Boosters is reliant upon marketing and outreach. This committee recruits and retains new members, and markets Booster events and the Booster mission and objectives.
