All-Sports Camp

 Camp takes place Monday-Thursday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. the week of July 10.  July 10 and July 11 will be at West Campus while July 12 and July 13 will be at Central campus. The camp schedule is below.

Coaches from Central and West run the camps with assistance from high school athletes. This gives campers the opportunity to meet their coaches before high school, giving them a head start on their high school athletic career.

The All-Sports Summer Camp prepares future athletes for high school while creating strong relationships with sender schools and our students’ families. Campers gain exposure to their coaches prior to entering high school and experience up to four sports based on the student’s choice and interest. The camp removes financial barriers and provides a safe environment for academic, mental, and physical development.

JT All-Sports Camp is an athletic/activity-oriented camp and we require the ‘sports look’ at all times. Athletic shoes, socks, shorts, and shirts are to be worn at all times. NO jewelry is to be worn during instruction and activities for safety reasons.

The Camp is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Please mark or label your camper's items.

Archery: Athletic wear and gym shoes.

Dance: Athletic wear and gym shoes. Badminton: Athletic wear and gym shoes.

Baseball: Glove; hat or visor optional. 

Basketball: Basketball shoes. 

Football: Football shoes. 

Track/XC: Athletic wear and gym shoes.

Golf: Bag and clubs (driver, 3 wood, putter, 5, 7, & 9 irons. No pull-carts). Club rentals will be available. 

Soccer: Soccer shoes and shin guards. 

Softball: Glove; hat or visor optional. 

Swimming: Swimming suit & towel (1 piece suit girls or tankini/ swim trucks boys) Goggles and additional towels; shower shoes optional. 

Tennis: Racquet, tennis shoes, sunscreen

Bowling: Athletic wear and gym shoes.

Cheerleading: Athletic wear and gym shoes.

Volleyball: Athletic wear and gym shoes.

Wrestling: Athletic wear and gym shoes.

All campers should bring sunscreen as much of the day will be spent outside.

A camp store will be available with a small selection of snacks and treats. The camp store will be open only at lunch times. Campers may bring a small amount of money to buy from the camp store.

Campers should not bring Smart watches, jewelry, gum, glass containers, and any item easily lost. JTHS will not be responsible for lost items.

Q: My student cannot attend all days that camp is in session.  Can they still attend? 
A: Yes.  Students can attend camp even if they cannot attend all days.  We understand that summer is a busy time for our families and camps are designed with flexibility.  While campers are not required to attend each day, we recommend that campers attend as many days as possible to get the full JTHS athletic experience and preparation for high school athletics. 

Q: Is transportation provided to and from camp? 
A: Bus transportation will be provided to the ASC by Joliet Township sender school districts.  You will receive information concerning bus routes from your home school district in June.  Please be sure to include your accurate address in your registration for bus routes.
 
Q: What is the dress code & what supplies do students need to attend?  
A: Students should dress in athletic wear and shoes with rubber soles. Students should bring sunscreen. 

Q: Are meals provided at camp? 
A: Lunch is provided, but breakfast is not. You may send your student to camp with a snack or bagged lunch if your student does not want to eat the lunch that is provided.
