Thanksgiving in 5 takes place 5 days before Thanksgiving on November 19 in the Joliet Central High School Student Center, 201 E. Jefferson Street, from 10 to 3 p.m., to provide a space for the underprivileged community to enjoy a hot-cooked meal and resources.
 
The event consists of feeding every attendee, distributing clothes and winter accessories to those suffering from homelessness, giving out care packages with PPE, free haircuts, raffle giveaways, children’s story time, and more. Food is served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. More information is HERE.
