Staff and community partners were recognized at the JTHS Board of Education meeting last night for their contributions to the Joliet Central Health Week that took place the week of July 17, 2023. Through a collaborative effort, families received support in order for students to receive the Child Health Exam, athletic physicals, and required immunizations, such as the meningitis vaccine for seniors. The efforts included reserved appointments for JTHS students at the Will County Immunization Clinic, and a partnership with Jewel Osco.
Staff members receiving recognition were Amy Carroll, Alicia Rojas, Maria Castaneda, Rose Alipio, Jon Pereiro, Renee Rink, and Kristine Schlismann. Community partners receiving recognition were Renee Arnold, Lisa Carlson, Mary Spata, Kathleen Harkins, and Melissa Golden-Barnett.- Central
