Seven Joliet Township High School teachers are receiving the Joliet Region Chamber of Commerce and Industry's Joliet Area Great Teacher Award during a banquet on March 11 at the Jacob Henry Mansion. 

The teachers were selected from an extensive list of educators nominated by students, peers, school leaders, and members of the community.   

JTHS Great Teacher Award Winners are Rocio Flores, Kelly Halusek, Nyssa Grzyb, Rachel La Vine, Peter Lipari, Darcy Newell, and Don Stinson. 

The Joliet Area Great Teachers awards were created to emphasize the vital partnership that exists between businesses and education in southwest Will County.
