This past Saturday, our cadets showcased their discipline, teamwork, and leadership at the annual Intercity JROTC Drill Competition. Joliet Central and Joliet West came together to compete in regulation drill, color guard, exhibition routines, and more—demonstrating the hard work and dedication they’ve built throughout the year.

Joliet West earned the Overall Championship, delivering outstanding performances across multiple events and representing their program with excellence and pride. Congratulations to their cadets and instructors on a well-deserved victory!

A special highlight of the day was honoring 14 outstanding seniors. Each of these cadets has made a lasting impact on our program and school community through their commitment, growth, and service. We proudly recognized their accomplishments over the past four years—whether in leadership roles, community service, drill excellence, academic achievement, or simply being the teammate others could always rely on.

Their contributions have strengthened our program and set the example for future cadets to follow. We are incredibly proud of everything they have achieved and excited to see the paths they blaze after graduation.
