Over the President’s Day Weekend, Joliet Central High School bowler Heidi Johnson placed 3^rd at the IHSA Girls Bowling Sectional at Moline. She will be competing at The Cherry Bowl in Rockford, IL this Friday, February 21, 2020 with the hopes of advancing to day 2 on Saturday, February 22, 2020. 

Joliet Central Athletic Director Jen Doede said, “Heidi continues to grow as a bowler each and every day.  She has worked really hard over the last four years to get to where she is at today.  This season has been full of success for Heidi. She has been a co-captain for our program to help lead the younger girls, along with placing in several different tournaments throughout the season individually.  She also became only the second bowler in Central history to have a 1300 series at a tournament! She became an SPC All-Conference bowler this year along with breaking some of her own and school records along the way.”
