Welcome to the Health Services web page! Minor first aid is given and students who become ill at school will have parents/guardians notified to arrange for the student to go home. Please be aware that per school board policy, no medication is dispensed in the health office unless the student has provided the medication and the required district permission forms are signed and in the Health Office. This includes over-the-counter medications such as cough drops, Tylenol, ibuprofen, sore throat lozenges, etc. For students who need to take medications at school, the required medication form is in the planner or can be downloaded here:

CDC Prevention:

Influenza is thought to spread mainly person-to-person through coughing or sneezing of infected people. There are many things you can to do preventing getting and spreading influenza:
There are everyday actions people can take to stay healthy.
        * Cover your nose and mouth with a tissue when you cough or sneeze. Throw the tissue in the trash after you use it.
        * Wash your hands often with soap and water, especially after you cough or sneeze. Alcohol-based hands cleaners are also effective.
        * Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth. Germs spread that way.
Try to avoid close contact with sick people.

        * If you get sick, CDC recommends that you stay home from work or school and limit contact with others to keep from infecting them.
