Library Policy and Procedures
Visiting the Library
Before School
Between 7 and 7:50am ask Security in the Cafeteria for a Library Pass.
During School
Ask your Teacher/Advisor for a blue pass to the Library. Teachers may send 2 students at a time to the Library, each with their own blue pass.
After School
Ask a teacher for a pass for the Library after school. Teachers, please use the blue passes, available in the Main Office, and write "after school" in the time slot.
When the Library is Closed
When we have two or three classes working in the Library then the Library will be closed to individual students from class/Advisory. Teachers receive an email each Monday listing all closures. Even when the Library is closed students are welcome to come for book check-out and return. The teacher should write "book check-out" on the blue pass.
Borrowing Materials
Books
Most books check-out for 21 days. You may renew once. Overdue books are 10 cents per day. Reference books check out for 3 days and can be renewed once. Overdue reference books are 25 cents per day.
DVDs
Teachers may check-out DVDs for 21 days. Students may check-out DVDs for three days with one renewal and a 25 cent per day overdue fine.
Playaway Kits
Playaway kits including the playaway, audiobook, and book are availabe for teacher checkout.

Notecards: 3" x 5".....10 for $0.25 4" x 5".....10 for $0.35

Computer Logins and Passwords
Home Access Center
Use the login and password sent to your home. In addition, this password was emailed to each student's school email account. You may change your password.
School Computer Accounts
Use the login you were give for Home Accenss Center. It will be your last name, a period, your first initial, and possibly a number. For example: lingafelter.a or jones.j23. Your inital password is your birthdate in the following format: mmddyyyy, for example: 09211994.
