Dear parents, players and fans:
Welcome to the Joliet West Baseball website. We believe it is extremely important that our student-athletes realize they are students first and athletes second. They are expected to perform in the classroom before the playing field. Student-athletes in the baseball program are expected to be role models and set quality examples for other students in the school.
These young men should be better people from being involved in our program and have specific goals they would like to achieve in life. Not only are our student-athletes taught to be good players on the field, but also good young men in the community.
All coaches are to set good examples for their players through hard work, dedication and committment to the program. Every coach should be a part of the same philosophy and be on the same page in order to make and keep this program successful. After all, it is not just a program, it is a family!
We look forward to a great 2012 season and seeing you out at the ballpark!
