BLOOD DRIVE:  The next School blood drive is this Friday, February 24th, in the small gym.  Sixteen year olds can donate with a signed permission slip.  Please sign up in the cafeteria, D62, or B222.  Donors will receive a $5 Sub Way gift Card as well as potentially save up to 3 lives.  Donors must be healthy, at least 110 pounds, and should be sure to eat and drink within the 4 hours preceding the donation.  To ensure a successful donation, begin eating foods high in Iron now!  For a list of Iron rich foods, Donor qualifications, other information, and to sign up, visit the Blood Drive Table in the cafeteria this week.

BLOOD DRIVE FACTS OF THE WEEK – TUESDAY – the average adult has about 10 pints of blood…you will donate only 1 of them!

SoCA- There will be a mandatory meeting Wednesday, February 22nd in G275 to discuss the upcoming fundraiser.  A group photo will be taken.

JUNIOR CLASS COMMITTEE:  There is a mandatory meeting Wednesday, March 1st in G275 to discuss the upcoming dress sale; a group photo will be taken.

REDRESS THE DRESS:  The junior class is looking for donations of prom dresses for the 2nd annual “redress the dress” event on Saturday, March 4th  from 10 am – 2 p.m.  Donations of prom dresses can be given to Mrs. Koppers in G275 by Feb. 17th.

SOFTBALL:  Mandatory Softball Meeting for all girls interested in trying out – Feb. 22nd at 3:30 in Room B108.  Questions, see Coach Suca in B108.

NHS :  Starts tutoring on Wednesdays 3:30 to 4:30 in the library

BLACK AND WHITE DANCE:  Saturday, February 25th from 6:30-9:30 pm.  If you have a question or concern, you must see Ms. Casiello in H282 or Ms. Kaczmarski in A23 .  NO LATE FORMS WILL BE ACCEPTED!!!!

BLACK AND WHITE DANCE:  Will be Saturday, February 25th from 6:30-9:30pm.   Tickets are $12.00 cash only and will be on sale NOW through Thursday February 23rd before school and during lunch periods.  All outstanding fees MUST be paid before a ticket can be purchased!  Supplies are limited, so please be sure to get your ticket ASAP!!!

JUNIOR CLASS COMMITTEE:  Do you have a used prom dress that you don’t want anymore, or do you know someone who does?  The Junior Class Committee is collecting men’s and women’s prom attire for their annual dress resale event on March 4th.  Items may be brought to Mrs. Koppers in G275 through February 17th.  Thank you!  Please contact her for additional information.

COLLEGE VISITS:  A representative from a college/university will be in media center from:  Don’t forget to register for college rep visits on the Library’s Online Event Schedule, and get the pass that must be signed by your teacher in the Library’s College Corner.
