GARDEN CLUB:  Meeting in B235 after school tomorrow, Wednesday, January 25th.  We will be making a craft and having a healthy snack.  New members are welcome.

CHEER SECTIONAL:  Fan bus permission form for Cheer sectional in Normal available in athletic office.  Form & payment due tomorrow, January 25th at noon.

ROSARY CLUB:  Will meet this Wednesday at 7:30 am in the auditorium.  Rosaries and donuts provided.  It’s a great way to start the day!

SNOWBALL:  Are you looking for an amazing event that will take away the winter blahs????  Do you enjoy meeting new people who you can laugh or cry with and just keep it real????  Are you looking for an opportunity to get away for a weekend of amazement?  Look no further……Snowball is in a few short weeks.  You need not be a No Name member to attend this fantastic weekend of having the time of your life.  We leave February 17-19 and head up to Lorado taft Campus along the beautiful Rock River.  Students/adults stay in college dorms and participate in life changing activities throughout the weekend.  Students who attend receive their weekend away, all great food, snacks, speakers, activities, shirts, and transportation for only $125.  Sound like too much money?  If so, we are offering fundraising opportunities to help defray the cost.  See Ms. Burroughs in E257 or attend Tuesday’s No Name meeting after school on Tuesday in the faculty cafeteria.  You don’t want to miss this incredible weekend!!!  There is a limit as to how many students may attend, so ACT FAST!!!!!!!

ATTENTION STUDENTS:  No Name is meeting TODAY, January 24th in the faculty cafeteria.  This is a very important meeting for those wishing to attend Snowball.  We will discuss fundraising opportunities as well as upcoming social and club events.  See Ms. Burroughs in E257 if you cannot attend.  You need NOT be a No Name member to attend Snowball!

‘ATTENTION ALL GIRLS INTERESTED IN PLAYING BADMINTON THIS SPRING.  There will be a pre-season meeting TODAY in the Cafeteria immediately after school.  Anyone planning to try-out for Badminton should attend or email coach Llorens at sllorens@jths.org”

NHS :  Starts tutoring on Wednesday 3:30 to 4:30 in the library

BLACK AND WHITE DANCE:  is Saturday, February 25th from 6:30-9:30 pm.  Date forms are now available in the main office.  They MUST be turned in NO LATER THAN Thursday, February 9th!!!.  If you have a question or concern, you must see Ms. Casiello in H282 or Ms. Kaczmarski in A23 before the forms are due – NO LATE FORMS WILL BE ACCEPTED!!!!

STUDENT COUNCIL MEETING:  The next meeting will be MONDAY, January 30d after school in H282.  We will be working on preparing for the upcoming Black and White Dance.  Please see Ms. Casiello in H282 or Ms. Kaczmarski if you have any questions – new members are always welcome!!!

BLACK AND WHITE DANCE:  Will be Saturday, February 25th from 6:30-9:30pm.   Tickets are $12.00 cash only and will be on sale from Monday February 13th through Thursday February 23rd before school and during lunch periods.  All outstanding fees MUST be paid before a ticket can be purchased!  Supplies are limited, so please be sure to get your ticket ASAP!!!

JUNIOR CLASS COMMITTEE:  Do you have a used prom dress that you don’t want anymore, or do you know someone who does?  The Junior Class Committee is collecting men’s and women’s prom attire for their annual dress resale event on March 4th.  Items may be brought to Mrs. Koppers in G275 through February 17th.  Thank you!  Please contact her for additional information.

COLLEGE VISITS:  A representative from a college/university will be in media center from:–– Don’t forget to register for college rep visits on the Library’s Online Event Schedule, and get the pass that must be signed by your teacher in the Library’s College Corner.

LUNCH– TUESDAY – Corndog, Pepperoni calzone, BBQ Grilled chicken sandwich, cheeseburger, spicy grilled chicken deli sandwich, chef salad with chicken, Cheese, crackers & Breadstick Nachos with Cheese – FRUIT AND VEGETABLE – Romaine Salad with dressing, sweet potato fries, marinara or salsa, sliced tomato, lettuce & pickle, diced pears, variety of fresh fruit- WEDNESDAY – BBQ Pork Rib Sandwich, cheese pizza, spicy breaded chicken sandwich, veggie burger, ham deli sandwich, chef salad with boiled eggs, cheese, crackers & breadstick, Bosco cheddar cheese stuffed pretzel with cheese – FRUIT AND VEGETABLE – Marinated Cauliflower Salad, Green Beans, Marinara or salsa, sliced tomato, lettuce & Pickle, mixed fruit, variety of fresh fruit.
