New Student Enrollment 2010-2011

Please call (815) 774-1644 to get information regarding enrollment.  Both the student and a legal guardian must attend the registration appointment. Students attending Joliet West must live within the district attendance boundaries with a natural parent or court-appointed legal guardian at the start of the school term.
 

New students will need:

  1. Original birth certificate,
  2. Guardian photo ID,
  3. Three (3) current proofs of residency,
  4. Verification of guardianship or custody,
  5. Illinois State Board of Education student transfer form completed by the previous school, and
  6. Unofficial transcripts.

CLASS OF 2015 INFORMATION

Information regarding upcoming events for the Class of 2015 will be mailed in November.  Anyone not receiving this information and live within West boundaries please call Pam Dantzler at 815-774-1645.

Registration for the Class of 2015 will be held on January 8 & 22, 2011. Information regarding registration will be mailed at the end of December.

Information regarding school fees is mailed out during the summer in early July.

Explore Testing

Explore testing for private school students and public school make-ups will be held on October 16, 2010 at Central Campus.

Students should report to Central Campus, the Herkimer Street entrance at 8:00 a.m. and be released by 11:00 a.m.  Please have students arrive early.  Students need to bring two #2 pencils and a calculator.

Honors Testing

Honors testing is for invited students.  Invites will be mailed in a separate mailing.

Testing will be December 4 (Saturday) at Central Campus. . . enter D-door on Herkimer Street at 8:30 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.  Students can attend the December 11 (Saturday) testing at West if they have a conflict.  Please have students arrive early.  Students need to bring two #2 pencils.

Questions related to Honors placement should be directed to Maureen Pulaski at 815-774-1688.  Eighth grade teacher recommendations are on file in our Freshmen Academy Office.  Therefore, please contact the high school, not the junior high school, to discuss placement.
