Mr. Plechaty is a graduate of Bethany College in Lindsborg, Kansas where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science/History and received his Masters of Arts degree from Lewis University in Guidance and Counseling.  While at Bethany College, Mr. Plechaty played collegiate football for the Fighting Swedes. 

This is Mr. Plechaty's third year as a counselor and just completed his first year as the Girls' varsity head basketball coach after serving ten years as an assistant coach in the boys' program. 

During Mr. Plechaty’s eleven years in education, he has taught American Citizenship, World Affairs, Psychology and United States History for Joliet West High School.
