Melanie Palmer is an upperclassmen guidance counselor who specifically oversees PSAT testing and Senior Student of the Month. Ms. Palmer is a graduate of Illinois State University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in health education and received her Master of Arts degree from Lewis University in guidance and counseling. Ms. Palmer also received a Master of Arts degree in Educational Leadership from Olivet Nazarene University.

 During Ms. Palmer’s first four years in education, she taught sophomore Health for Joliet West High School. Ms. Palmer is a girls’ freshman volleyball coach and also coached two seasons of girls’ freshman softball and one season of boys’ freshman volleyball.  Ms. Palmer also coaches girls badminton.
