Mrs. Austin is a graduate of Illinois State University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and received a Master of Arts degree from Lewis University in School Guidance and Counseling. Mrs. Austin has been a counselor since 2007. She taught Spanish for 8 years and was known as Ms. Lopez to students.
Mrs. Austin co-coordinates the advertisement and distribution of school, district, and outside scholarships. Also, she schedules the monthly military visits.
