SAT Exam April 5, 2017

All 11th grade students in the State of Illinois will take a state-funded SAT that will be used to evaluate the academic programs at the high school level. 

The SAT is a measure of college readiness and is an accepted exam for college admissions.

 

All 11th grade students at JTHS will report for 2nd hour and follow a testing schedule for the school day, as shown below:

Test portion Time allotted for Test Portion
Reading 65 minutes
Writing and Language 35 minutes
Mathematics (no calculator portion) 25 minutes
Mathematics (calculator portion) 55 minutes
Essay 50 minutes

 

Students will have lunch during 7b and will be dismissed from school at 3:15 pm.
