Prerequisites: Students must earn a passing grade in semester 1 before progressing to semester 2.

The emphasis of this basic course in construction is on the use of bench tools and basic machines. Practical application is made through a series of small projects in building construction with emphasis on layout and planning. Use of hand and power tools will be taught. Woods Technology will give the student opportunities to develop desirable work habits and obtain building trades knowledge/skills.

REMARKS: Woods Technology is required for Construction Occupations 1. Recommend taking Introduction To Technology.
