Curriculum

INDUSTRIAL COOPERATIVE EDUCATION (I.C.E.)
GRADE 12 (SEE BELOW)*
2 SEMESTERS
1.0 GRADE WT.

Prerequisites: One credit of prior course work in Industrial Technology; 16 years of age; senior standing; application required; coordinator's approval.

Students attend a daily related class and are assisted in being placed in a community training station for 15 or more hours per week of approved work experience. This is the capstone course for the Technology Department programs such as drafting, metal working, photographic communications, auto mechanics, auto body, and other industrial career fields.

REMARKS: Some jobs require students to furnish tools or special clothing. Students must provide own transportation to job sites.

* .5 credit for class per semester; .5 credit for the first 135 hours of approved work experience per semester; .5 credit for the second 135 hours approved work experience per semester.
