Curriculum

VOCATIONAL ELECTRONICS 1
CENTRAL CAMPUS
GRADES 11, 12
2.5 CREDITS*
2 SEMESTERS
1.4 GRADE WT.

Prerequisites: Successful completion of one semester of Algebra (may be taken concurrently). Successful completion of Industrial Electricity. Students must earn a passing grade in semester 1 before progressing to semester 2.

This course covers electronic circuitry and components, trouble shooting, testing and repair of electronic equipment progressing from radios and amplifiers to blackwhite/ color television and digital electronics.

REMARKS:
*This class will meet for 2-1/2 hours daily. West students are transported to and from Central. Electronic calculator required.
