Joliet Central Class of 2017 Student Athletes Sign Letters of Intent

Twenty-five Joliet Central High School athletes from the Class of 2017 signed letters of intent to continue their athletic careers at the collegiate level at a recent ceremony in the Joliet Central High School Student Center.
Joliet Central Athletic Director Steve Locke and coaches were present to introduce and recognize the twenty-five student athletes in the school’s auditorium.
“These students are not only dedicated to their sports, but to their education as well. I am very proud of each and every one of them for deciding to pursue their athletic careers in college,” Locke said.
Students who signed letters of intent at the ceremony include: Andre Baez Martinez – Cross Country/Track, University of St. Francis; Jamari Butler – Football, Millikin University; Erick Ceballos – Soccer, Aurora University; H’Aeneise Coopwood – Track, Culver-Stockton College; Laisha Coronoa – Cross Country/Track, University of St. Francis; Jeremiah Crisostomo – Football,University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire; James Epting– Baseball, Robert Morris University; Frank Fiegel – Football, Trine University; Jose Grubbs –Basketball, University of Missouri-St. Louis; DeAngelo Johnson – Football, Wartburg College; Ryan King– Football/Baseball, Wartburg College; Natalie Knoble– Cross Country/Track, University of St. Francis; Thomas Langley– Baseball, Robert Morris University; Ricky Malmfeldt – Baseball, Aurora University; Misael Martinez – Soccer, Blackburn College; Jamarre NcNair – Football, Wartburg College; Michael Mendoza– Cheer, University of St. Francis; Robert Ogden – Football, Lindenwood University-Belleville; Brenna Rande– Volleyball, MacMurray College; Zachary Schraer– Football, St. Ambrose University; Allen Smith – Football, Illinois College; Donovan Sontag – Soccer, Greenville College; David Stocking – Football, Illinois College; Jesus Tenorio – Cross Country, Joliet Junior College; and Tyler Theobald – Bowling, University of St. Francis.
