Honors Program

Joliet Township High School provides an appropriate as well as challenging education for students.  In District 204's screening process, no single criterion will exclude a student from consideration.  Rather, nomination for the Honors Program is based on the following criteria:

- EXPLORE test results

-District honors tests

-Teacher recommendation(s)

Students will remain in the Honors Program unless they fail an Honors course; however, students who earn a grade of "D" in an Honors course at the semester will be subject to a placement review during the second semester.  Based on this review, these students may be placed in a college preparatory class the following year.
