Prerequisites: Biology 1 or Biology 1 Honors, Chemistry 1, or concurrent enrollment. Must meet district honors criteria.
Students will solve biological problems at collegiate level by using appropriate tools, techniques, and methods. Students will investigate areas in molecular biology, cytology, genetics, comparative anatomy and physiology, and ecology. Research procedures are emphasized and an individual project is required. This is a laboratory science course.
