Music

Joliet Township High School offers a comprehensive selection of elective courses in both vocal and instrumental music for all grade and interest levels, performing abilities, and for those students interested in preparing for a career in music.
Performing music classes are considered to be co-curricular; that is, they sometimes meet and perform at times outside of the regular daily class time. The performing groups participate in Illinois High School Association (I.H.S.A.) sponsored activities, in Illinois Music Educators Association (I.M.E.A.) sponsored all-state district and state activities, and in South-West Suburban Conference(S.W.S.C.) music activities. Groups regularly perform concerts for school and community functions.
