GEOMETRY
GRADES 9, 10, 11, 12
1 CREDIT
2 SEMESTERS
1.0 GRADE WT.
Prerequisites: Algebra 1
Students will analyze characteristics and properties of two and three-dimensional geometric shapes and develop mathematical arguments about geometric relationships. They will apply geometric definitions, postulates, and theorems to solve problems using algebraic processes.
REMARKS: Texas Instrument Graphing Calculator (TI-84 plus or TI-NSpire) is strongly recommended.
